I tried something new today and absolutely loved it! Cross Country skiing, you've got to try it.

FInally went to the library to pay my fine but the computers were having problems so my fine didn't show up. Nice. But that also meant that all the books I wanted were showing to be available but really weren't because of the glitch in the computer. But these are good for now.

When I went running this morning at 6:30, weather was normal. Then at about, oh I don't remember, it started to snow, then as the day progressed it turned to rain.
Brody said he was trying to help the environment by moving the leaf debris out of the gutter so it could drain to the sewage drain.

Cloe's baptism dress. My mom found it at Costco for $15. I felt a little guilty that I only paid $15 for her baptism dress. When I saw it I thought "that's cute, we can take the butterfly off". Then when she got home from school she loved it, I asked her what her favorite part was and said the butterfly! I guess the butterfly stays.

Lent begins tomorrow. I know, I"m not Catholic, but giving up treats during Lent works for me. And anything to help with my "preparations" for the cruise, I'm doing it. Some friends from the RS presidency stopped by this evening and brought a plate of goodies. I had 2, maybe 3. Things got a little hazy, can't quite remember, but tomorrow I'm going cold turkey so I HAD to have something for Fat Tuesday.

Abbey was keeping the other kids from falling asleep and since they have school, I told her to come downstairs and lie on the couch.

our Valentine dinner. I truned the lights down and we had a candle lit dinner. The kids thought it was "awesome" to quote them exactly. I loved that they loved it because it was actually thrown together last minute.
